Anyone registered with AliExpress?

Good day,
Has anybody here managed to register as an affiliate with AliExpress?
They state that they take on average 5 days to approve applications. I applied 7 days ago and still no response.
Registering with them is a crucial element of the program, for selling physical products, which Mark has been promoting the past week or two.
Not much point investing in this program if AliExpress is a problem?

I also bought their plugin as well.

And my first site is about Chinese New Year Gifts which fits perfectly with the culture and origins of Alibaba.
