How do I delete a MySQL database in Premium Hosting?

In certain situations you may wish to delete MYSQL databases from your hosting account. For example, if you are closing down your blog or website, or if you are migrating to another hosting service.

Before you go ahead and delete anything, though, we strongly recommend that you backup your databases to prevent any accidental loss of data.

Then follow the steps below to delete your database:

  1. Log on to your Affilorama account at http://www.affilorama.com. The login form is located on the upper right-hand corner of the home page.
  2. Once logged in, you will see a list of your Affilorama products and bonuses on the right hand side of the page. Select Premium Hosting from this list.
  3. Log on to the control panel by clicking the "Access" button right next to the website or domain name where the database is associated.
  4. Click MySQL Databases in the Web Tools section.
  5. You will see a list of existing databases associated with the hosting account on the Manage MySQL Databases page. Tick the checkbox for the database you wish to be deleted. You may select multiple databases if you want to, however, you should be careful not to delete any database that is still in use.
  6. Click the Modify button to delete the selected database(s). Keep in mind, though, that we can no longer restore a database once it is deleted from the Control Panel.
  7. Click OK to confirm.
