Do you recommend still getting forty articles up on your website when starting out even if you have a review site with some reviews up already or do I not need as many?

Cheers

Ok cheers adrian, I have some articles written for me already with elance and its costing me a fortune to get just a couple of articles. Is there anywere cheaper than this which offers good quality articles with keyword rich content in it?

Thanks

What do you call a fortune? $10 per 500 word article probably isn't a bad price. You can go cheaper, but often the quality will decrease.

Its costing me between 50 and a 150 dollars for 400-1000 word articles and I need about 30 or 40 articles so you can see its gonna cost a bomb.
I know that if I want it cheaper it will decrease in quality, I've heard that plrpro.com is ok, don't know if they will have the articles I want though what do you know about them?

50-150 for a single article? Unless Shakespeare is writing these articles, I think that's way too expensive. Are all the bids around that mark?

$150 dollars for 1 article is WAY TOO HIGH.....

You should be seeing bids for $19-25 dollars.

Most of them are yeh, the cheapest I get are $50. You wouldn't think shakespeare was writin em if you saw them. They are ok but I dont think they are worth what I'm paying, some of them are worth it though for reviews which need a lot of work to do on them. So can you recommend anywere?

Cheers

I was looking at writing articles myself, for profit - (was previously a copy writer for an ad agency in Melbourne).

I am looking at setting up a freelance business and would be interested in knowing what problems you have, what sort of material you use etc.

I wrote a few articles for two publishing sites who sold them but they took such a large cut, it wasn't worth it.

(If this is off thread, or you don't want to make it public, drop me a line at the link below, I would be very grateful).
