Including product videos in my own video - youtube

Hi all,

I searched and searched for some literature... but to no avail. In the event this question had been answered please direct me to that, but I didn't see it.

Is there a way to use the actual product video from Amazon or whatever affiliate program I am using and include it in my video.

Do you need to obtain license agreement / consent from Amazon or the manufacturer direct? If so what is communication channel for that?

 Hi

You need to directly ask the product vendor for the use of their materials. That is the only way you can obtain permission. :)

 If it is an advertising video, I would not worry, as long as you show the product in a positive light, they will WANT you to include their video and never ever ever, ask you to remove it. Just take the video and cut it into yours without worrying about it.

The process of getting official permission will be long and laborious, and you'll have to find a contact in the marketing department and get express email consent.

But seriously, why bother?

If, however, you show the product negatively, then they COULD issue you a simple take down notice. In which case, it's just a matter of removing their video content - easy solution, no harm done.

So just go for it is my advice :)

 If you act as an affiliate, you can ask your affiliate manager. Or, you can just inform you manager about it.
By the way, they may provide you some promoting materials like slides, images, etc.
