why google backlinks is suddenly down?

I have a one a website (URL removed by mod) I am daily working to valuable backlinks like froums articles submission directory submission, but suddenly google backlinks is down. What reason about the reduced google backlinks.Then my site backlinks is around 28, but today suddenly reduced the backlinks are 10.So please tell me what reason changes about the backlinks?

 Sometimes Google randomly checks sites and see if you created your own backlinks. This is actually against Google's guidelines (but everyone does it!). If Google's algorithm detects that these are self-made, it will devalue and deindex them which them may effect your ranking. Your site may even receive a penalty if done to extreme.

What you can do is provide fresh content that offers real value. Engage your visitors and give them articles that are interesting, engaging, and useful. Fresh content keeps people coming back to your web site, again and again. This will also result in your visitors referring to your site thus creating backlinks. You will have increase in traffic and better search engine results.

 There are a lot of possible reasons why your backlinks came down to 10. One reason is that some of the sites you have created links to removed your link or their website is not anymore working. If you are linking mostly to free directory listings or free bookmarking sites, you should expect your number of backlinks to go down. Most of these sites are not really permanent and at the same time a lot of these sites came to only one domain. Google has a way to verify the domains of where your links are coming from and if they detect sites that came to one domain, they count the link from that site as one "backlink".

If you want to increase your backlinks "permanently", you should create links to high quality websites like content sites, web 2.0 sites, and answer sites. But remember not to spam. Quality content is always good when it comes to building backlinks.

 I am wondering how someone can create there own backlink on someones site. Most of the time when you make a comment I guess you could put in some html code to put in your link but the places I have been to say if you do this they will delete the comment. Most places I go to has a place to fill out your name e-mail address and your url. I can't see this as putting in your own link because the site you are making the comment on is asking for a url and they are the one's that are putting it up. What would you consider putting in your own link. Mark

 Hello Mark,

Blog commenting can be a bit tricky since (like you said) a lot of these sites do not want spamming. One of the best ways to go about this is to search for blogs that are related to your website. Then read the article, make a valid comment- something that you really think is valuable to the author and readers, and if possible (make sure that it is related to the post) create an anchor text within your comment.

Like for example, you own a dog training website. You may want to search blogs that talks about the same subject- dog training, dog collars, etc. Then once you have the list of possible blogs to comment on, read the articles in these blogs and make a comment based from those articles. You can insert an anchor text within your comment (if the comment box permits putting html or bbc codes), but make sure that this anchor text is still related to the post. Additionally, if it is too hard for you to relate the anchor within your comment, try to put your signature at the bottom of your comment. This can look like this:

- Mark, owner of <anchor text>
- Mark, blogger about <anchor text>
- Mark of <anchor text>

You can be creative as much as possible. Another tip: You can also fill out the name and link boxes with your website link and keyword, but make sure that the blog allows this by observing previous comments posted. If you see a comment published this way, then go ahead. Your comment will likely go published as well.
