What can I promote to make money on my blog?

I getting kinda of lost. I have a blog on celebrity gossip and I am very passionate about it, but I'm not sure anyone goes to gossip site to buy anything! www.hollywoodtopnews.com So I'm thinking,should i promote free stuff like cpa marketing? aNY Ideas?

 who is your target audience? is it teen girls? Is it older women ages 20-30?

if its teen girls, it can be anything from clothes to nail polish to hair products, etc. CPA probably won't work for that age group unless you can find something geared toward them.

 How about books about these Hollywood stars? There's plenty of biographies out there of top Hollywood stars that you can sell on your site. Another option is to look at a Hollywood star's "look" and offer less costly alternatives. Yet another option is to place AdSense ads on your site as well so that you can earn from the site while coming up with products to promote.

 Actually there are a lot of ways where you can monetize your blog site. You can include Adwords and also Chitika (text-based ads) aside from affiliates.

For affiliates, you may promote fashion (Hollywood-style), movies, and also music.

 Hi,

That depends a lot on your audience demographics and how they get to your site in the first place. What's their intention? Do you check your stats to see what kind of sites are referring, what keywords they are using to find you? If it's general traffic, then adsense is a surefire method, although not a big payday. If you can get inside the visitor's head a bit more, then you will know what is interesting to them and be able to market more appealing products.

 Go to other bigger celebrity "news" sites and see who is buying ad space.
See who is advertising what in the celebrity "news" magazines at the super market check out.

You could try an amazon widget with some of the latest fashions. (follow esolutions advice above and try to figure out the demographics of your visitors first.)

Just a gut feeling; weight loss would probably do well.

 Take a look on your site. I suggest you to promote favorite movies CD and eBook related to star biography or gossip.

 Identifying your core target market would be the firs step. If it turns out to be bored housewifes you find out what they are likely to buy and market to them, it's it's teenage girls you find out what they like and do the same for them.

A few ideas off the top of my head that might sell, books on the celebs (autobiographies for example), films, fashion, make up, beauty products, style tips ebooks, diet guides. You need to work out your target audience first though.

Gossip sites could be quite interesting to some, but I agree that commonly, it is not the site which people visit if they'll be looking for certain products or even services. I guess, if you want to sell some products or anything that involves marketing, promoting or any relevant terms with it, you must first know your first move. You must first understand the competition of the business world, specifically the ones that are online. You must also have enough understanding so you'll be able to put up a nice strategy. And one thing that you must not forget, the way of touching your customers. You must be able to reach out and also be on the lookout for any possible customers or clients. Think of what could they possible want and provide it to them, and you will surely have a good sale.

as your blog name is hollywoodtopnews so you have to be specific about the news and discussion regarding holly wood . if you post information some thing related to business or science what you will get ? nothing .

so be specific with your domain name and content .

 May be not related to the above but could someone with knowhow tell me if guys from my country are allowed to promote anything on MarketHealth affiliate program because am yet to come upon any. Real setback really and where else can i get items to promote? On CJ i find its the same case, i realise that for a newbie things are not easy but jeez!
help? anyone?
