I believe in most auto-responder systems, in a situation like this, you would need to send out a "broadcast" message (in this case it would be the message that was supposed to be delivered automatically if everything had been 'on'). But I think when you send a broadcast you can select recipients. If he's your only subscriber at the moment, you can just copy that autoresponder message and send it as a broadcast. If you have other subscribers you will need to find the controls that will allow you to select that one person and exclude other subscribers. Hope this helps.
