Is it possible to shut down your blog temporarily

Hi

I own a few blogs and I would like to know whether it is possible to close them down temporarily just fore one day in a week to prevent trading on that day. I know this is a strange request but I was wondering if there is a function like this ?

 Hi Chantelle,

You can try a "Coming Soon" or "Maintenance Mode" plugin. (Assuming you are using WordPress.)

Some plugins even have a countdown timer on them.

 I think it is quite possible to shut down a blog temporarily. Blogger allows it. Make sure that you reopen it within a stipulated period of time. It should not be shut down for too long a period.
