How to market e-books?

Do you have some great marketing ideas to sell e-books? You can find tons of e-books on very good subjects at e-junkie. But the problem is, how to sell the one you like the most? Are forums the better places to sell them? What is your idea?

Marketing eBooks is the same as promoting any other digital product on your website. Pick out an eBook, write a review and share it on your social media sites. You can create a video review and post it in Youtube.

You can promote the eBook in forums, the same way you can promote a product or event in the forum. Just make sure the eBook is relevant to the forums and that it can help the members of that forum. For example, a weight loss Book would be more interesting to people trying to lose weight than to a group of people looking to cure their acne.

 Of course, like with everything else, you need traffic (people seeing your offers), so really what you're needing to know is how/where to get traffic? Or how/where to get a lot of people to see your offers.

It would be a whole lot easier to promote as an affiliate if you built a brand in my opinion.

 Maybe you can put it in clickbank.com. Or just sending out email or provide link out there for people to get to your eBook. The key is getting people to your site to look at the eBook. Facebook and twiiter, or message board maybe ?

 I have come across several websites that are exclusively devoted to clickbank products (digital). Such Clickbank product websites tend to do very well I suppose among buyers. Sometimes it becomes difficult to run a website for a single digital product!
