How to Choose Colors For Your Logo?

There are so many colors logo maker offer to the logo designers that it is complicated and confusing sometimes to select the perfect color combination to create an exclusive logo design. Here are some essential points that every logo designer must keep in mind in order to create an impeccable logo design.

1. Understand What Each Color Means

For choosing the colors to make your logo looks like a perfect one, the first thing that any logo designer must need to understand is that what each color means. Before selecting any specific color for your logo, make sure that it delivers the right idea about the brand or product for whom you are designing the logo for.

Understanding the color psychology will help you select the right colors for your logo. It is apparent that no company would have wanted you to design a pink color logo for their technology brand. For avoiding such kind of mishappenings, it is essential to learn about the colors and what they interpret on the human mind.
There is many colors logo maker have that will confuse your brain. Each color further has many different shades, and each shade means a different thing. For example, if you will choose a lighter shade of purple, it will interpret that the logo is about something magical, but if you move towards the darker shade of purple, it will show the symbol of royalty. Similarly, with every color, each shade will elaborate a different meaning.

2. Whether to Use Single Color Or Multiple Colors?

The next important decision that you need to make while picking colors logo maker offer is whether to select a single color for developing the perfect logo or to choose multiple colors for creating a unique logo. Many designers they go with the selection of multiple colors for the logo because they analyze that many successful logos are also colorful, like Google and eBay. The critical element that every logo designer needs to understand is that using too many colors means that the brand associated with that logo is offering various kinds of services in every dimension.

Until and unless the brand for whom you are designing the logo for, is not providing a large variety of services, there is no need to use multiple colors in the logo. Try going for the numerous shades of the single color, or various colors from the same color family in your logo.

3. Think Globally

Make sure if you are designing for the global corporate, choose the colors with extra care. Remember, different colors also elaborate the cultural differences. For example, in India white color is considered as the symbol of death and mourning, whereas, in China, the red color is regarded as a symbol of being lucky. Also, use the colors that enhance your logo design.

guys, don't you think all that is a stereotype now? Of course, that is a historical cultural code like "white is for mourning in India", but "purple is for magic, red is for energy" and so on...there are hundreds of logos around us every day and they have to catch our attention. if all of them will be made by some kind of scheme - that will not work at all.

The color code or brand color we choose is not what we like it per se .

Why do we write article or content for ? is that for us or for your visitor. Of course it is for End users or customers right.

Do you know why i choose Orange & Blue for my logo and orange for link color ?

I choose orange for being friendly in my community,i contributed mainly on Forum,Facebook groups and i made it for them. so that they can learn from my mistakes and fix them.

I choose Blue because i want to create trust on my community and around it. So whenever i recommended something or promote something. This might be great opportunity or may be increase conversion (my idea)

Do you know why Facebook ,Affilorama choose blue and green respectively ?
- It is not because Mark is red-green colorblind it is mainly for marketing purpose. You can check out from Buffer website - https://blog.bufferapp.com/the-science- ... ebook-blue

- Affilorama is a evergreen product so it is best to use Green.

so to @murraytyates answer health care niche color should be Green because they are fresh and and growth.

Normally Graphic designer almost take a year to understand color combination or color theory or whatever.
Cheers

Researchers have also found out that colors have an effect on our shopping habits. Impulsive buyers tend to respond to black, red-orange, and royal blue. Spendthrifts respond best to sky blue, navy, teal, and pink. Conservative ones react to pastels like baby blue, pink, and rose.

colours you choose for your logo design, and your entire brand image, should both reflect the company’s mission and the people behind the company, but should also take into account your target audience.

Im going to stick with blue.
Blue works in most cases just fine.

But is depends on your house style.
Take 2 of three colours and let them come back in header en footer.
