How Many People Can I Follow on Twitter per Day?

How many people can I safely follow on Twitter per day without upsetting Twitter admins?

@maryt is right, you can follow upto 1000 twitter users in a day without disturbing Twitter admins. All you need to know is to choose right people.

I also agree with this thing that you can follow 1000 twitter users per day but if you will follow 100 to 200 users per day it can be much better for you.

Make sure you don't follow and re-follow, or immediately un-follow a huge list otherwise twitter will consider it unethical activity.

I think there are tools that could take care of this? Auto-follow, then unfollow those that won't follow back, etc.

I'm actually contemplating using one of those tools... Just to get a following "automatically". I guess there's no harm in doing that... I only don't know how many Twitter bots are going around.

I see some successful sites I follow who are auto-following, that's for sure.
