Are Solo Ads Worth the Costs?

I tried solo ads recently and my ad received say about 600 views but I could get only 3 sign ups. Are these solo ads worth the costs we spend? What is your experience with solo ads? Probably I have not designed my solo ad nicely enough to attract more readers. At the same time I have read more and more about the effectiveness of solo ads on the Internet. Any methodology involved in sending solo ads...?

The solo ad provider's list may not be working well for you OR you need to tweak your landing page to make it convert well.

Solo ads are a great way of getting targeted traffic on to your squeeze page. If you're building a list, and want that list to grow fast, then solo ads are the way to go.

But like Mary said, you need to find a good source of solo ads and you need to have a good squeeze page. Your squeeze page needs to be convincing enough for people to sign up.

I suggest you tweak your squeeze page and give it another go. Be careful not to spend so much though. Settle for a small amount and see how that campaign with an improved squeeze page turns out.

Let us know how you get on. All the best!

I think solo ads are good for a specific niche. Not every product is good to promote this way. I think you should try other ways of attracting customers to what you offer.

Solo ads is a hit or miss thing... I'd rather use a more profitable way of promoting offers like integrating an offerwall tool into my website. I've been using one for over a year and it really works like magic in helping me earn money...:)

I understand that solo ads is a good way to build a list rather than making sales. If 100 clicks can cost you somewhere around $55 and if you could make a sale that fetches you say $20, then it sounds not very good for your marketing efforts. This math is of course presuming that you may get a sale or two more later from the provider's list.

I heard from experts that solo ads play the vital role in the marketing and getting huge targeted traffic. It depends whether the ads are related to which niche. Nowadays every business starts their own solo ads for a better purpose.
