Why does Clickbank prefer to send out physical cheques?

We were just talking about this. Does anyone know the reasons why clickbank would prefer to send physical cheques out, rather than have everything done electronically? It doesn't make sense to me, but I'm sure there's a reason for it.

 They do offer direct deposit when you are earning $1000 per pay period.

 Just to clarify for anyone who was wondering, you need to have made over $1000 for 6 pay periods and have minimum threshold set to $1000. It also costs $35 due to bank charges.
