How long does it usually take to see your first real results

I'm trying to figure out what a realistic timeframe actually looks like. I understand that nobody can guarantee earnings, and I'm not expecting to start making serious money overnight. At the same time, I don't want to spend weeks putting time and effort into something without knowing whether I'm moving in the right direction. Is it realistic to see some initial conversions within the first few weeks, or should you expect to spend a month or more testing before you can really tell if an offer is working?

 I wouldn't really judge it by the amount of time alone. What matters more is whether you're actually seeing some movement in the numbers. You might get your first registration pretty quickly, but that doesn't necessarily mean you've found a working funnel. I'd give it enough time to collect useful data, but if you're getting absolutely nothing after several weeks, I'd start changing something instead of just waiting and hoping.

 It depends a lot on where your traffic is coming from. If you've already got a relevant audience and know what you're doing, you can get some initial results pretty fast. If you're starting from zero, though, a big part of the first month is basically figuring things out. I'd look at it in stages: clicks, registrations, deposits, then actual revenue. That tells you much more than simply saying "I've been doing this for three weeks and made nothing."

 I'd separate the first conversion from knowing that the whole thing actually works. You can get a couple of registrations in the first week and still have no idea whether they're repeatable. That's why I like having proper tracking and enough statistics before making a decision. ODDX Partners, for example, has tracking for registrations and deposits, plus CPA, RevShare and Hybrid models, so you can compare how the same traffic performs under different conditions. I'd probably start with a small test, watch the numbers for a few weeks, and scale if there's positive movement. If there's still nothing after you've tested the traffic and offer properly, then I'd move on rather than keep waiting.
