I'm not after quick results here, and my whole life doesn't hinge on this affiliate program working out. I'm not gonna end up without food, water, or electricity if it flops. But try to see it from my side too. Sinking a decent chunk of time, effort, and other resources into this for, say, a month, and getting literally nothing back? That's just not something I'm mentally ready to sign up for.

You also gotta factor in the time it takes to figure out how everything actually works. That takes time too. I don't doubt you're a genius and pick stuff up instantly, but either way, a week's gonna be gone. But if a month in you've already got a decent amount of testing done and there's just no movement at all, I wouldn't keep going purely out of principle.

Like, you're gonna have to spend a month either way. You'll have to keep grinding constantly just so you can eventually find out whether there's gonna be a result or whether there's genuinely nothing to count on. And besides that, does it even come down to the affiliate program itself? Can you pick one, get nothing after a month, then pick another one and get your first results in 2-3 weeks?

No thoughts on the idea that experience can be pretty individual though? I've never once come across anyone giving out clear, precise recommendations and guarantees. It's different for everyone. Sometimes you get your first data really fast, but it takes a few weeks to reach an actual conclusion. To be more precise, I'd split results into two categories, first results and stable results. Initial conversions can show up quickly, but figuring out whether a funnel actually works usually only happens once you've got enough statistics. With ODDX Partners, for example, they've got a few models, like CPA, RevShare, and Hybrid, so the same exact traffic can show completely different economics depending on the offer and model you pick. And honestly, there's no point waiting a month just for the sake of waiting a month. How do you know ahead of time? You've got dynamics. Or rather, you should have them. If there's no movement at all, either switch the source or switch the offer. If there's positive movement, scale gradually. And if you've already switched the source, tried different offers, given it enough time for testing, and still nothing, then yeah, at that point I'd probably go look for a different affiliate program.
