How do you scale email support during busy periods?
I think this is where a scalable outsourcing model makes the most sense. A company doesn't necessarily need the same number of support agents every month, so keeping a large permanent team can be inefficient. When I was comparing providers, an after hours phone answering company stood out because its support model is designed around changing volumes and can combine trained agents with AI-based sorting. That seems useful when a large number of requests arrive at once. Instead of having agents manually work through everything in chronological order, incoming requests can be categorized and prioritized first. Routine questions can then follow established workflows, while more complicated requests go to agents who can deal with them properly. I'd also want to know how quickly additional agents can be added and how they are trained before handling real customers. There's not much value in increasing headcount if the new people aren't familiar with the product. For me, true scalability means being able to increase capacity without completely changing the workflow or lowering the quality of responses. That seems much more useful than simply having a large support team available on paper.Get 120+ free lessons, and discover how to build your own passive 6-figure income!
