Which Is Easier To Use : Wordpress VS Blogger

I found Blogger easier to use. What do you think? WordPress of course has more themes, very attractive ones so to say. On the other hand Blogger, though short of themes, has some easy-to-use plugins. Is Blogger upgrade-version available too?

I think it's a matter of preference; the same way there are people who like Mac over Windows. For me, Wordpress is easier to use than Blogger, and that's coming from someone who first started using Blogger. There are also more free themes and plugins in Wordpress than Blogger.

My two cents. Have a good day!

Thanks Cecille. Should I necessarily upgrade my WordPress account if I want to enjoy more benefits from it?

Cecille is probably talking about WordPress.org (the WordPress engine that you install on your own hosting) rather than WordPress.com (the hosted blog, similar to Blogger, which is what I think you're talking about).

I don't really know too much about hosted blogs. From memory, WordPress.com (hosted blog) was a bit touchy on the idea of people using it to promote affiliate products. http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/

Looks like so long as you're not promoting make money online products, you might be OK, but I'd be wary -- it sucks to have your site pulled down!

Blogger and WordPress are the most popular blogging platform. WordPress actually comes with a both free and a paid version.
I use both platforms for several blogs each – there are pros and cons to each, so it’s down to what the blog is for as to which one use.

I think Blogger is more user-friendly and it's a good platform for those who are just starting. I've actually started on Wordpress, then swtiched to Blogger and now I'm back on Wordpress. But I've maintained my personal blog on Blogger. They both have pros and cons, but for me, if you're just looking to start a blog, go for Blogger, but if you want to upgrade your skills and site - basically level up - then Wordpress would be more ideal.

Have a great week!
