Squarespace VS Wordpress

If i built my affiliate marketing website via squarespace or similar website service instead of wordpress, is that harder to rank or any cons? I can't think of any con at the moment.

If you waken up to a life your not passionate about, you already have a death sentence. What your excuse now? In this life, you either go for it or hoe for it. I'm goin for mine, what about you?

Hi William,

If you are talking about similar services to Squarespace, these are websites that are built for ecommerce. Most of the sites in affiliate marketing do not have ecommerce features, unless you are building a website promoting physical products. Perhaps, one of the cons to using this service is the cost. These sites offer monthly payment for you to keep the website running. I am not sure though if there will be extra costs in case you exceeded the limit. Normally, these services offer limits in terms of usage, bandwidth, products/pages added, etc. It might be best to inquire directly with their customer support team before subscribing to their service.

As Mary told you above there is the disadvantage of the costs. How many products are you planning to sell?
I`m asking this because an eCommerce website isn`t the normal in affiliate marketing.
You can go with Wordpess, or better yet, abandon the CMSs and create your own website

I understand why you would want to go with Squarespace : easy to set up, beautiful templates, analytics, SEO, and all other wonderful bells and whistles.

All good if you can afford the cost.

If you're starting out in affiliate marketing, you'd want to keep costs to a minimum. A bulk of your money should go into getting traffic to the site because its traffic that will lead to sales.

Wordpress is cost-efficient because it comes with most webhosts who charge less for their webhosting services. There are free templates and plugins you can use to customize the site, too.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
