Rel=nofollow - What's this & where do I put it?

I'm wanting to use some of the articles on EZine & it says I need to use this tag. I think I know what its for but where do I put it?

I have never had to put a nofollow on a link in ezinearticles...

Nofollow means the spiders will not pass pagerank from that link or count it when they crawl over it.

I guess if you've never had to use it... maybe its not so important?

It says "Agree to not include the rel=nofollow tag in your HREF statements."

Meaning you don't have to do anything... just put a link like normal in.
