Lots of hops but no sales - Dropped from $290 a week to 0

Hi,
I will appreciate if you could advise on this:
At the end of December last year I grabbed some templates and started my affiliate business following Affilorama teachings. In first 100 days I reached $290 a week (not bad). Then I decided to improve and expand: I created 2 new domains http://www.allreversephonelookup.us and http://www.allreversephonelookup.ca to cover the North America market and moved the initial templates accordingly (slightly tweaked). Then I spend 2 months creating an "authority site" http://www.allreversephonelookup.com linked to the other ones. (I've tried 11 different designs/layouts).

The result for now is: Everything flattened to zero "0".
Few days ago I had few hops but a sale from almost every hope, now I have 4 times more hops with no sales - (see the attached CB-graph). I do not understand that??? My new site is optimized for "reverse phone lookup" I believe...

I am puzzled trying to figure out what is the reason and what should I do to quickly remediate the situation. Is it the layout, the wording, page download speed or keywords set that causes the problem.

I spent excessive time on the "authority site" design with negative result which is unacceptable.
Please advise.

 Everything I have everdone has wild swings, in traffic and conversions. You need more time to know how a site really performs. If you are bringing traffic with SEO I would just forge ahead, as I know this product converts.

If you are doing PPC, I know you don't have the luxery of time. Make sure you are only getting traffic from where you want in and not broad searches, at first. People looking to buy a phone, for example, might be curious but not coing to pay to look up a phone number.

Make sure you excluced words like free if you do buy traffic on broad searches, cuase the freebie seeker wont pay.

Thank you for your thoughts. I am glad to hear other people have gone through wild swings too. My situation is that I can not afford experiments right now (I need a steady source of income). I am sure there is always a solution and a way to make it work...The problem is I do not see a logical explanation so far.

One possible reason (I assume) I provide so many choices and the visitor gets puzzled and just leave... A simple (template) page gives them no choice but one only provider - so there is nothing to think about - just click and buy... (does it sound like a reason)...
May be I should just go ahead with SEO (there are 15M monthly searches )...

I do not count on PPC (Google PPC is very inefficient and expensive so I gave them $5/day budget just for presence)..

I am trying to figure out the logic of sale. This site has position 36 I believe on Yahoo, but the "0" sales really bothers me.
