How do I add RSS feed to my website?

I've searched around but I'm still a little confused.

Do I just paste some code into my page?
Will the spiders see it as content?

Thanks,
Randy

This is what we use:

http://www.feedforall.com/free-php-script.htm

Apparently it's "easy enough", but I've never actually done it myself. (We have programmers for that kind of thing!) There is documentation that may or may not help you. So yeah, it's a bit more complicated than just pasting in some code.

Fortunately, if its converted to HTML the search engine spiders will see it as being regular content, so no problems there. I think there might be some other options out there that might be easier, but not so good for the search engines. Don't quote me on that... I just read it somewhere!

It might also be easier if you're using a content management system like wordpress, joomla or drupal, but you'd have to google it, and don't quote me on that either!

Good luck!

I'm hoping that I wont have to rely on that!!...LOL :)

I actually ended up trying Carp and although I was up till 6:00 in the morning
I did actually learn how to get into my server through my cpanel and upload
files where they needed to be and I now know how to put RSS feeds on my
site...Yippi!!!
You were right though....it sure is a lot harder than pasting code but just
like anything once you know how it's done it seems easy.

Thanks Mark,
Randy

Good job!

We'll get you to write the next "ask a geek" section for Affilorama then :) I think you've earned your geek stripes!
