Honest opinion about my website

I would like get an honest opinion about my new Health&Fitness website: www.healthymeansyou.com
It is really a combination of two niches: weight loss and muscle gain. I wanted to do that since I, myself, like to switch between two of them when working out in a gym and I thought it would be interesting to combine that into a one website.

I'd like to be honestly critiqued on the layout, article content (outsourced to Elance writer). Just an fyi, I am not finished with the website yet, I just want to know how I'm doing so far. I have outsourced my off-page SEO to http://www.thearticlemarketingcenter.com/ (I have done that just couple of days ago so basically it is my beginning of an off-site SEO campaign). It was recommended by a well known forum blogger James Pruitt.

I am at the start of week 7 of affiloblueprint working on Newsletters. I'd like that to be outsourced too. I was thinking about hiring another elance writer, but the problem is that I have two subniches on my website.
How do I go about the newsletter? Should I have two different types of newsletters on my website: one for weight loss and one for muscle gain?, or just combine them together into a one newsletter?
What do you guys think?

Please be honest and do not hesitate to be negative. This is how I will learn.

Thanks a lot

You should modify your article title so it can be a little intriguing rather than simply throwing the keyword there. Boring title and meta description will give you less click even if you're at the first page of Goggle SERP.

No offence, but your page seems a bit simple, design isn't very appealing, although there are lots of great and helpful articles, worthy to read.

Also will advice to do something with a chosen font, cause a present one makes a page busy a little.

Then, may suggest to create some categories to separate the posts by themes. That will determine an option to choose a certain topic, one wants to look through.

So, ride away at your site general look, as its filling is really cool.
Hope these two cents will help you.

Well I like your site and it has nice feel to it, but shouldn't you have two categories or something?

Stefan,

Is there a specific article title you're talking about? or every one of them in general? What would be your suggestions? I have the metadescriptions set. I think they are pretty catchy, so I shouldn't have a problem with that.

Thanks for the tips Olivia.

I made this page look simple because that's the way affiloblueprint instructs people to do. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should change? Throw in more pictures here and there? Implement some 'call to action' flashing .gif's?

As to the font - I picked Verdana because again that's what affiloblueprint instructed would be the best. Which one would you suggest?

Great tip for the categories. I will split that into Weight loss and Muscle gain categories.

Thanks a bunch

All of them in general. After the keyword, mention a "sneakpeek" of what they'll learn in the article. I didn't check your meta desc, just the title.

Example:
Instead of just "How to Build Biceps?", use "How to Build Biceps - Three Secrets to Bigger Biceps"
Mention number to make it look simple.
