Getting my WordPress blog verified in Google Webmaster Tools

Can Google's webmaster tool be added to a wordpress blog? If so how do you do it?

 Hello,

Download the html verification file provided by google webmaster and then upload it to the root folder on your server using either ftp or the file manager on your hosting server's cpanel. Then verify.

 I didn't notice the HTML file Google provided. I only saw the meta tag descriptions. Inserted and verified!

 In my experience the HTML option seems more reliable for site verification than using the meta tag.

 An easy way for Wordpress is to download this plugin:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/robots-meta/

It's very easy to add the meta tag code but if you need help then watch this video:
