banner size in sidebar widget

Some of the banners from certain companies I am an affliate for have banners that are too big to fit in my sidebar widget. I can easily change the size in a post or page but how can I change the size of the banner image in the sidebar widget?
Thank you for your help.

Hi,

You can force the image size using the height and width attribute tags in HTML code.

For example:

<img src="theimage.jpg" width="60" height="40" />

Hi tcoco_architect,

Were you able to edit your banner images in the sidebar? esolutions has given you the HTML code and you'll find that it's a trial and error. You need to decrease the image's width and height, save it, then check the changes and see if it fits in your sidebar. If it doesn't , you repeat the process.

Please let us know how you get on. Have a good weekend!
