That's a very general question.

Not all the people rely on SEO for their traffic, on social networks, or on the free traffic methods.

Also, a site doesn't necessarily mean a blog, and many people pay for traffic.

At your site's level, there are many aspects that can hurt or improve your traffic:

- The quality of your content
- The loading time of your site's pages
- The design of your site
- Poor content interlinking
- How frequent you add content
- How well you interact with your site's visitors
- How much ads your site has
- And many more.

The Factors That are affecting the website traffic, Boil down to
Finding what working and Modeling after That, and in turn Staying
As far away from what doesn't work as possible.
We Shouldn't try to re-invent the Wheel, just do what works

" So Here are the Five Variables to Running a success website/Campaign"
[Never Have Two Unknowns]

* Demographic = Who is your target and where can they be found on the
internet? Basically, Who are my competitors?

* The Offer= What are You Selling, At What Price Point?

* Landing Pages/ Optin Process= Simply the Most Important Page in your
Entire Sales Funnel.

* Traffic Source= Where is Your and or your competitors Traffic Coming
From? Where are they advertising and what types of ads?

* Add Copy/Content= What Makes people click on your ads?
What's enticing them to read or look at the content?
what does the Headline Say? Are you using video/are your competitors?
if so what kind...etc

1. Content. Make shareable and HQ content, add new posts regularly
2. Make your website mobile-friendly and take care of UX. Users will be happy to find all they need when it is supposed to be
3. Do SEO well. In this case you'll be getting organic traffic on a regular basis

But mind that SEO algos are changing from year to year so be aware of them (subscribe to emailing lists from authoritative companies like Moz, join discussions on misc marketing forums, ask experts etc. )
