Traffic from Web 2.0 properties

Hi,

I have been writing article and will be soon creating web 2.0 properties (weeby, squidoo, hubpages, wordpress).. I'll be putting my website link in the article. Do I also need to back link it social bookmarking sites (socail adr, onlywire) or wiki sites. After that do I also need to ping those sites on pingler, pingomatic to get traffic???? Which are the best ways please suggest??

 I would suggest after posting the content on web 2.0 you should promote it on social sharing sites like stumbleupon, digg, reddit etc. It will give you good exposure online.

 Sounds like you are trying to do some type of linkwheel. But, the way you are going about it is very obvious and will easily be detected by Google. The search engine algorithms are becoming more sophisticated in detecting this type of blackhat backlinking technique. If you want to backlink, then find a highly relevant/related website that is similar to yours and submit your articles for republication there.

 According to me you have to write content on the hot and latest trendy topics and then you can share on the social media website to get visitor's attention. If your content is up to the mark, then the user will automatically like and share it so you will get the social signal and it's one of the best factors to rank well in the serp.
