Post articles to your site BEFORE submitting elsewhere ?

Hi Affilorama members !

I've stumbled upon this thread on WarriorForum,

http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-ppc ... first.html

In general, it says that you should submit your articles on your own site first, let Google index it, then submit the original ( no spun ) version to article directories like Ezines ( with link pointing back to our original article )

I've heard that we need to spin the article properly before submitting to avoid "duplicate content" penalty.

It makes me confused !

I'd like to know your opinions :)

Thanks a lot

Post the original on your site, and spin it or rewrite it to share it on other sites.

Article marketing has gone downhill these past few years, but if it works for you that's cool I guess, just do not link to your main site from your spun articles that you put on other people's sites, you should link to your 2nd tier sites and then those link to your main site. ( So: Other people's site > Your site > Your Main site.)

This way if the spun article (other people's site) gets slapped down, it won't be directly connected to your MAIN site and won't get slapped down as well, it may lose ranking but only because it lost links not because it got labeled as spam/junk.

To be honest I would focus on quality. Not just quality content, but quality link building as well, this means instead of 100's of crappy links, you go for just a few high quality links. They take more work to get but well worth it in the end.

I agree with Andrew: Post the original content on your site, spin then post/submit the spun content on other sites. I wouldn't submit the spun articles on article directories though as most directories now only accept original articles.

There are plenty of link building methods you can try so don't focus on just on, and like Andrew said in his post, quality links matter too so don't despair if you do not have a 100 links at the end of the day. It's quality over quantity these days.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

There is no reason for having duplicated content in your website, it's not going to do any good. also, include links to other articles, not the original one, because if you point to the original article and it's the same information EzineArticles won't aprove it.

Hi Ashok,

eZine requires original articles so i suggest you submit the article to eZine first. Once the article is approved and published in eZine, spin or re-write it, then post in your site, making sure that the re-written content or spun article is more than 50% different from the original.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Spun content is okay as long as it's not too similar to the original. You could always human edit it and make it unique. Oh, and I wouldn't suggest using automated submissions just in case there's spelling and grammar errors in your spun content.

Hi cecille i need to confirm that a spun article with 50% duplication of the previous article would not be considered as duplication or it is ok to have 50% or less similar article writing previously.

Yes, the spun articles need to be more than 50% unique or different from the original email.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
