Please Can We Have a SE Rank Check Tool?

I cannot find this tool within Affilorama and believe there's a great need for it. (I'm not talking about Page Rank Checker)

I am using SEObook Rank Checker and it shows me I am positioned anything from 33 to 117 in Google for a certain keyword, but my site is nowhere to be seen in or close to those positions. Yet Yahoo! rankings reflected in this tool is spot on.

Am I missing something? or can someone recommend something better?

@stargate - this is something that is pretty frustrating for anyone trying to track Google SERP rankings, b/c as it turns out, it's all dynamic. Google spits out different results based on various factors. I'm not sure what they all are, but based on what *I've* seen, where you're querying from, what browser and/or tool you're using and possibly what you've queried in the past (possibly in conjunction with whether or not you use Google history).

For example, I've used an online tool called Adolix' Keyword Tracking (http://keyword-tracking-tool.adolix.com/) and its results are notoriously different from when I manually type them into my browser. I've also seen different results with Digital Point's keyword tracking tool (http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/).

Just for grins, fire up a different browser and try the same keyword. Then for even more grins/headaches, try running Chrome in incognito mode and try your keyword there.

I haven't bothered too much with Yahoo and Bing et al.

Probably not what you wanted to hear, but hopefully it helps somewhat.

You could also use the position/ranking feature of Traffic Travis. You'll find it inside the search engine tools.

No, the Traffic Travis Position/Ranking tool will display the position of any domain on Google, MSN, Yahoo, Altavista, and Ask.

Even those that are not on the top 20 :)

OK thanks Michellerana.

What made me think that way, was that other rank checkers show positions in Google for my keyword, like 117, 83 etc and TT nothing for the same keyword. I gather TT is right, because I cannot find my site in those positions. That's why I thought we should have our own reliable rank checker.
