Penguin 2.0 Update Due to Come in A Few Weeks!

Google is committed to improve user experience for web searchers and frequent algorithm updates are aimed towards the same. The upcoming update is Penguin 2.0 which is expected to arrive soon.
Matt Cutts, head of web spam department at Google, said Penguin 2.0 will arrive within some weeks. However, only Google knows the exact date and time on which Penguin will strike.
So, brace yourself before Penguin bomb is dropped by Google. :)

Here is a link for detailed news http://www.fatbit.com/fab/penguin-2-0-bomb-will-be-dropped-within-weeks-matt-cutts/

In the video, Matt clearly says that their updates are not going to touch someone who has a great website that people love, share and bookmark.

Thanks for sharing vipinsoft1!

Google's busy and they're rolling out a couple of changes. News at SEORoundtable says Google will be softening up the Panda algorithm. Wouldn't count on it too much.

At this point, the best thing to do is focus on your site and make sure you're building strong, quality backlinks.

Have a good day!

Keep adding content regularly and focus on building high quality links. The best are from high PR and relevant sites. Put up content that people want to share/like.

Hi mbeelow,

Thanks for sharing! Matt Cutts of Google said Penguin 2,0 is more in-depth now, going into internal pages within sites, and not just the homepage. I'm interested to know if any of our fellow members' sites were hit or negatively affected by this latest algo release?

I hope none were.

Have a good day!

I must be doing everything the way google likes it done because I have never had anything happen to my sites and they don't move from the page they are on after any of the updates.

Hi Mark,

That's good to hear :) Glad your sites weren't affected. Sadly, some sites don't recover after they've been hit by the Panda or Penguin algos.

Keep it up!

Have a great weekend!

In my opinion, we can see these updates as an advantage. If we know what we need to do in order to be seen as a legitimate website, we can get better positions over time, thanks to Google that penalize other websites that have been doing grey SEO practices in the past.

Just do what we know needs to be done and let Google see our sites with better eyes over time.

With the information here on Affilorama they only way we can lose is by not doing what is right.
