Did you check if your site is currently included in Google's index by doing a site search for your site's URL?

Type in "site:yourwebsite.com" (without the quotation marks) in Google and the sites with that URL will be displayed on the search results.

Hi PH,
1. Have you typed in - site:yourdoman in the google search
2. Have you built any backlinks
3. have you entered the site in your webmaster tools account
4. Have you submitted your site to the SE directories

Regards
Troy

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem and yes, google has totally de-indexed some of the sites which were already on top 10 and as I found out this has been happened to many other marketers also. It's not so called "Google dance", they just disappear. I must say, I'm not very worried, because I'm trying to think more long term, but It's not something to be happy about either.
Has anyone here experienced the same problems and have you any idea what is going on. Is de-indexing a normal thing that happens to relatively new websites?

Thanks!

Are you talking about dropping in rankings or being deindexed? Have you received a letter from Google telling you that they have deindexed your site? They usually inform the site owner that they have detected that you were using techniques that are outside the quality guidelines found on this link: http://www.google.com/support/webmaster ... 9&hl=en_GB.
