Monitoring traffic on my website

Hi there, everyone,

OK, I'm really embarassed to ask this question  cause probably everybody already knows the answer... 8)

How do I find out how many people visit my website daily? Is there some piece of software that can collect such data for me? Can Traffic Travis do this?

Thanks :)

Also, Google Analytics.

Depending on your hosting package you can also peek at your webstats through your website control panel. Most hosting providers give you some form of webstats package, the most common being Webalizer or AWstats.

All of the above options are free.

All the best,
Mark

Thanks, Mark 8)

I've just installed the Google Analytics on my pages, so will see how it goes.

I also checked my hosting provider (HostGator) and found the tools you mentioned below, but they don't show any data yet. Guess it's because I only just published my website a day and a half ago

Take care,
Katharina
