link exchange?

Does anyone know any good link exchange websites? The one I found isn't really that great.

 Hi Nicole,

You can try linkpartners.com but you would not find any good link exchange sites these days. This is because link exchanges do not work as well as they used to. Search engines look at relevance now so you would get more link juice with a site in the same niche linking back to you and you linking to a site that has content relevant to yours.

I just want to jump in quick to explain why a link exchange or (reciprocal link) is of basically no value anymore.

Since Google did the Panda and Penguin updates, reciprocal links are worth nearly nothing. This is because Google can now identify many things that show that a link was created un-naturally. In an attempt to give Google users a better search experience, it gives much more strenght to links that appear natural without manipulation.

A link exchange is clearly a un-natural link and will be of no benefit to your rankings. Building these links is a waste of time in my opiniion.

 I am not aware of link exchange websites... But link exchange is not a good technique to gain traffic..

 Hi Nicole,

Link exchanges are no longer recommended as what others above also said. Besides the fact that these link building techniques are no longer valid when it comes to ranking to Google, they also post threat to getting your website flagged as spam since Google considers link exchange as "unnatural" way of backlinking.

 I myself don't use link exchanges because I don't know where they are coming from. So I get all my own and know I won't have any trouble with Google in the future.

 Don't even waste your time with link exchanges. You may end up destroying your site's rankings rather than any boost.

I have been trying to get people to forget about even thinking about link exchanges.

Reciprocal linking has NOT been a good ranking strategy for many years and even then the links were of little value.

It's very simple, LINK EXCHANGES ARE NOT GOOD!!!!
