Installing Google webmaster tools

I am having trouble verifying my website www.musicprofessorpro.com with Google webmaster tools meta tag. I have tried putting the code in front and behind my google analytics code.

If you are struggling with this then the easiest solution is to install this plugin:

Once installed and activated go to settings -->robots meta--> scroll right down to the bottom and under webmaster tools you can add your google webmaster meta tag code. Easy!

Hope that helps.

"Copy the meta tag below, and paste it into your site's home page. It should go in the <head> section, before the first <body> section."

You've put it to wrong place, try putting it just under this (<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />) line..

For a wordpress site, the best option is to verify using the html file. Download the html verification file from google webmaster central and then upload it to the root folder of your server.
