Maybe I'm missing out on some of the best job opportunities of my life, but every job I've had either came to me, came through connections, or happened by chance. Now I'm unemployed. It's a difficult time for me, especially mentally and physically, because I'm used to working all the time. And for the first time, I have no options. Should I try an agency?

Then they start looking for companies and job openings that would be a good fit for you and where you'd be a good fit as well. Everything else depends on how things work out. For example, a staffing agency can't solve any problems you might have adjusting to a new team.
