Has anyone tried Backpage.com free link submit site?

I came across a site called Backpage.com http://newyork.backpage.com/BizOpps/sub ... e/13556082 . It seems like a spamming site but I can't be sure. Anyone know about it?

Yep you are correct.
The links may even be legitimate but I wouldn't touch them.
Imagine getting 5000 links back to your site in a month..
Google have a big red "DEINDEX" button just waiting for sites who use services like this.

 Thanks I figured as much. Are there any services like backpage that are safe to use? Or are there sites that have lists of back link sites in which you can manualy submit to?

 Backpage also runs print ads on the back of those "weekly freebie" newspapers that most US cities have like the Village Voice in New York, SF Weekly in San Francisco, New Times in Phoenix, The Stranger in Seattle, etc.
