Can Anyone Help Me Fix My Homepage H1 Tags?

I've put my site into Traffic Travis to do some analysis. Traffic Travis had some good info and showed me what was wrong, but I don't know how to fix some of the problems it's talking about. The primary issue I'm having is that my home pages, the ones that show the post excerpts, are showing up as not having H1 tags.

I don't know a whole lot about style sheets and css to be honest, so is there anyone that can help me to fix this in the simplest terms possible? It would be GREATLY appreciated. I have to figure this out because I know it's going to be something I need to do for any site that I own.

(Please assume you're teaching a child how to do it)

Hi Donald,

The title of the posts are automatically tagged as H1 in a page so if you have several of them on the homepage, the error should be you have too many h1 tags on the page. Could you please post a link to your site URL on this thread? Or if you prefer, please send it through the contact form on our support page.

Hope to hear from you soon. All the best!

Hi contactus 1,

Thanks for your post.
Hope this question doesn't sound too silly, but are you putting this tag directly into the "header" section of your wordpress editor?

Hi Donald,

I think contactus1 misunderstood the question, but to answer yours, yes you can put the codes he mentioned on your post. Not directly on the header though, unless you are editing the CSS for the theme.

We have received your email in support and we will be responding to that ASAP.

Have a good day!

Don't put an image inside of the H1 tags.
