Are email signatures SEO-friendly?

By including your link in your email signature you do boost the search engine optimization of your site. In the beginning I wondered whether this could be possible. But yes...email signatures do have their say in SEO. Any comments?

 This backlinking technique no longer works now. The links placed in the signature area has little value post Panda-Penguin period. The links that matter most to your website are links that contribute to your content- be it an article post, forum post or blog comment.

 Linking in email signatures have no seo-benefit at all.

What does is guest posting?

People linking to your website, social bookmarking, interlinking between posts, and blog commenting.

I agree with your comment because it's an old time when email signature contributes more to SEO ranking. But with a change in search engine algorithm it no longer helpful in SEO ranking.

 I totally agree with @carldaviescom

I think that what this would do is link people to your website but since email signature links will not appear online, it won't help SEO.

 No, putting links on signatures in email won't give you any SEO acore nor help to rank.

Emails are not indexed by Google, no.

Obviously, as a general business rehearse, what to incorporate into your mark is up for discourse. It can absolutely create movement. Google claims not to focus on Google Analytics information including movement sources and so on so it is probably not going to have any advantage other than the immediate activity from the individual going to your site.

 Agree! No sense to put backlinks to the email signatures. Unfortunately it has no effect.
