Hello to all members in here.
My name is Olivia and I have a blog http://blog.websitetemplates.bz/.
I would like to refresh it, and, kind of bring new and fresh ideas in, but still I don't know from what to begin. Maybe someone help me with that. I'll be appreciated to any sensible criticism and well wishing.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Olivia,

I just took a quick look at your site....it looks okay, but I would suggest that you put your templates into categories, so interested viewers can just look through a certain category for a template they are interested in....If I was interested in buying a template, it would turn me off to only see two templates per page, and have to click on older entries to view the others. I would suggest organizing your website into separate categories, and perhaps create an index on the available templates you have. You might also want to create a category for the most popular templates, as these would create interest.....

thanks for sensible criticism, I also think that categories creation will be the best varient for blog organization, but still you can find interested templates using tags.

Hi Olivia,

To add to what Michael has suggested, putting your templates into categories will help streamline your main blog and make it look more professional and much easier to navigate. =)

Have a good day!

Hi Olivia,

One thing that you can work on to improve your site is how your templates are presented. The templates or images are much, much bigger compared to the text underneath them. You might want to consider balancing the two.

You might also want to categorize/organize your templates better. I clicked on Blog Website Templates.bz and it shows the same templates as when I click on New Website Templates.bz.

You may have encountered Smashing Magazine. Take inspiration from their site. The images and text are balanced, and all advertisements are all organized neatly to one side. You can also get inspiration from their articles for new content on your site since they deal with web design.

Hope this helps. Have a good day! :)

Thanks, Cecille, for a constructive advice, I will take into consideration your suggestions. Will try to implement them into practice.

You see, I've already analized similar resources, you had mentioned, and will try to do my best in order to enlarge the balance between a content and templates and provide a reader with a compelling and captivating info.

As to the last blog posts, I've made some interesting selections, that is why I think much text to be written is an improper approach.

But still will ride away at my blog harder.
Thank you

I found your blog a little generic. Perhaps throw in some more personality? I understand professionalism is important, but I aim to have around 70% of my uniqueness come out when I post.

Oh, I see your point, I'm trying to do my blog articles compelling and valuable, but you see there is always something that should be edited, added or changed and it's challenging task to do.
And from your point of view, what kind of personality should I add, really curious, what sort of info it would be interesting for you to read in such blog? Please, suggest

the personality should be your own personality. Get excited about what you are righting. pump yourself up, and let that enthusiasm show through. if you arent blogging on a topic you are enthusiastic about naturally, you should try to change niches. a blog will die a slow and painful death if you dont enjoy it and get excited about your topic.

Hi Olivia,

The site looks great! It looks professional and organized. I have a suggestion on the information you have at the bottom, i.e. Budget Web Templates, Free Web Templates, etc. You might want to link the actual pages of the budget templates or the free web templates to that so when visitors click on it, they will be taken to the part of your website that has the budget templates.

Good job on the website! Have a good day!

My feedback:
- I wouldn't use the gradient banner. It distracts a litte. Try and make it more neutral.
- Use a bigger line-height
- Seperate posts in a clearer way

Thank you for the interest in my blog.

And I think that header banner looks nice. The blog itself is too simple, I realize that, but if I make it neutral, the blog will look even more plain.

I'm not pretty sure what line height you're referring to....

Noted with thanks
