Open old NSF files on Windows PC without HCL Notes!
I had a stack of old NSF files stored away from a previous job, but I didn’t have HCL Notes anymore—and reinstalling it just to view some emails didn’t seem worth the hassle. I needed something quick and lightweight to just open and read the contents.
What ended up working well was using a
eSoftTools NSF to PST Converter Software that functions like an NSF viewer. It let me open the files, browse emails, calendar entries, contacts, etc., and even convert them to more accessible formats like EML or PDF. I was able to recover some important info without needing to mess with Lotus Notes at all. If you’re in a similar situation, it’s worth looking into solutions that can view and export NSF content without needing the original application installed.
