Need a Strategy for a Real Brick and Mortar Company

Hello All,

I have been doing AffilioBlueprint for about 3 weeks and am already on Week 8. I am starting out with a ClickBank product. I do have past experience with publishing content, however, not with SEO. So this is definitely a learning experience. I notice that the AffililoBlueprint is meant to promote Clickbank products by building a website (webasset), and then directing our traffic to the affiliate page. This strategy definitely works when one is not the owner of the Clickbank product. However, what about when one is the owner of the product.

For example, in my case. I have a website, www.ecoattech.com , where I showcase our products.

What would be the best strategy for this type of scenario? I am thinking about putting my sales landing page on a different domain main, something like www.bestpaint.com and then directing the traffic to my main site. However, I am thinking this is not wise, since visitors might not click to our main www.ecoattech.com site.

So, I decided that maybe I can put my sales page in our www.ecoattech.com site. Something like www.ecoattech.com/salespage.html. But, I think it might not look good, since my salespage is a typical long landing page and it would not match our www.ecoattech.com site look

Lastly, I am thinking of putting a summary salespage that matches our www.ecoattech.com site and also a landing page on another domain of its own. But, the problem with this strategy is that we might have similar and maybe duplicate content, one on our own www.ecoattech.com and one on its own domain.

I would like to hear from people who have experienced this type of scenario.

Thanks,

Hi Angel,

The Affiloblueprint course is mainly for affiliate marketers, however, the strategies taught in the course can be applied to promoting one's website or physical products. It's best if you create a landing page within your own domain. You can make it so your landing page matches your website's design and layout. I suggest you go over the following Google Webmaster Landing Page and Site Quality Guidelines

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Angel is correct in recommending following the AffiloBluePrint format.

As to specifics on your other questions.

You can set up pages that are published to your domain name that do not show up on your html sitemap. You can tell the Google bots not to crawl this page thereby avoiding the duplicate content issue. What this does is it makes this sales landing page inaccessible to visitors unless they know the specific url page address. The page becomes a ghost page to everyone not knowing the specific page url.

I have used this type of page when I have had established multiple landing pages for testing or to create a landing page very specific and directed to a particular segment of the populous. I have also used this type of page for FAQ's where I do not want the general public accessing the page however I need to provide specific inquirers answers with how to proceed with specific answers to their order processing. Some clickbank marketers will do this with their affiliate page. The page is kept secret from the general public, but is provided to those who have had a need for the information.

Hmm, I will try this and make a survey of which page is more appealing and useful. On it!!
