Could I please get some feedback?

Hello there!
This is my very first post on this forum, so please forgive me if I sound noobish. I am writing this because - I am at a point with my affiliate review site (I only have 1 at the moment) where I am starting to do well in the SEO area, as in first page of google for a number of keywords I've been working towards....but now even with the increased flow of traffic, my conversion rate is next to nothing (only a few sales to speak of - ever).....
After watching the "how to write affiliate reviews" video on this website, I have recently switched over from a Full page review, to more of a list style review as the video suggested....
But still, nothing seems to be happening....I'm assuming I need to add more value to the content somehow while still staying in a "list style" for reviews, but i am feeling pretty lost on how to do this. not really "technically" (i can usually figure out my web design and such) but how to really pick out what content to feature in order to be really useful for readers? if thats makes any sense?

and if they're may be some other types of things i could add to my site to make it more appealing or attractive, or whatever it may need. I've been working on this by myself for quite some time now, but i've come to realize that without external feedback (besides lack of conversion) it seems impossible to figure out what else i should be doing.... any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your help.

my site is http://www.beforeyourworkout.com/blog/

Hi service8,

Your site looks great but I think the problem may be you are promoting too much products. This can cause confusion in readers. You might want to pick out three of the best-selling and promote those, then add the other ones later on, one at a time.

I also noticed you only have reviews on your site. You do not have any articles that describe these supplements, or their effects. I see comments, but not really testimonials. When you get a user on your site, you need to convince them to purchase the product. When I am on your site, all I see are choices. Unless I already know which supplement to use and which works for me, I will not be able to decide which one to take. Maybe you can publish a few posts for those who are only just beginning to work out? Like how to pick a good supplement, and why one who works out should take it.

My two cents. Have a good day!

Hm, okay. Thank you for taking a look.
You have given me something to think about, haha. So thank you. I will see what I can come up with. Do you think I should "Hide" some of the many other choices ? As in, not remove completely, but make them less distracting (not in wdigets or lists etc....) ? You think that might help a bit? Along with some testimonials too?

thanks again for your help, I appreciate it

I agree with Cecille, more content = more interaction = more opportunities for action, or something like that..

A good way to see what works though, is to look at what other sites are doing, especially (If you can find them), sites that are paying for PPC Ads, if they are paying for ads and the longer running ads the better BTW, then you know the site is getting a good ROI, in other words, the site is making money, or else they wouldn't be spending any money on clicks.

Below are some sites found from ads, notice the trends? Two of the sites are almost the same site! Seems fishy but it might just be an Aff. using the same method to promote more products:

preworkout.com
besthghsupplements.org
besttestosteronesupplements.com
mealreplacementshakereviews.com

Just emulate these sites, one-up them somehow, and test test test, because since there are tons of variables at play here, it makes us all bad guessers of what converts, but if we start off in the right direction and we TEST, you can figure out piece by piece what works.

(Remember these are paid traffic sites, meaning the tactics needed for SEO may or may not be implemented on these sites.)

I'll also say that if you have little traffic it's hard to determine if it is indeed the site that's the problem and not the low traffic, this is why many super affiliates will gladly pay for traffic to "Fail Fast", to see what works right away so they can move forward quickly.

Hi service8,

Andrew gave some excellent tips! In line with that, if it's possible to hide those reviews for additional products, then do so. Add a few content and leave only about 2 to 3 products on there, then see how it goes.

Have a good weekend!

" Aaaah " a sigh of relief. Thank you for the input you two, it is much appreciated. Up until now, I've been going at this totally by myself, and none of my friends are the least bit interested so I really have had no one to ask for feedback from. Thank you both very much. I will try to implement what you have mentioned, and I'll message back with an update once I have.
Thanks again,
my name is Matt, by the way :)

Hi Matt,

I just checked my private inbox and it appears you sent me a private message a few weeks back. I am so sorry for not replying sooner. I don't check my private inbox daily, so if you have a question, please post it here in the forums ( I check the unanswered posts list more than my private inbox) or send an email through the contact form on our support page (which I check daily). :)

We're glad to help! Please let us know how you get on!

All the best!

Service 8 I know how you feel my main site which is 3 years old and on page one position one for many keywords sells almost nothing, now granted I know that for my niche it takes people a long time to commit so i understand so I just keep improving my site anyway I can and change up my articles often. I don't know what is in inside affilorama's premium as far as information since I am not a paid member but here is a great site that goes into great depth to help people figure out how to make there site better and get people more sales they have about 15 or so videos and the ones I have seen are great and each have been about an hour long. Take a look at the list of there videos and check them out and maybe it will make something click in your mind like it did for me and you will say yah I get it now. here it is and it is completely free. http://www.meclabs.com/ the videos are under the marketing experiments tab
