Refund Percentage in Clickbank?

Hi all:

I am very much a newbie when it comes to affiliate marketing and there are lots of questions about the viability of marketing products online floating around in my head. However, my main concern when looking through clickbank for good affiliate products to sell is the refund percentage. If a product has great gravity, but the refund percentage is in the 90s, 90% of the money you make will be lost! So if you are converting 10% of visitors into a sale, you are actually only going to get 1% in actual sales you can keep. Is my understanding correct? If so, then many of the products are not so profitable even though their gravity is high.........

 Hi Wrightsites,

Are you referring to "%refd"? It actually means percentage referred, not refunded. It gives the percentage of the sales coming from affiliates promoting the product. A rating of 90% means that 90% of the sales were made by affiliates :)

 Thanks Michelle - yes, I checked it and you are right! Is there anywhere where we can get % refunded information? Or do you just need to check your own stats and get an idea from that?

I'm not sure if it is accurate, though. I compared it using a formula that I got from a blog and both gave the same results.
