Question about affiliate program

Hi , I am new to affiliate program. I am on the early bird list for new version of Affiloblueprint. I am still learning a lot and love the webinars. However I have a question since I can't learn from AB yet.

How do you sign to be affiliate with for example Amazon. This is what i do not understand. You have to have a website first , but if you want to promote just one product from beginning and you didn't choose which one yet will Amazon sign you up as a affiliate?

Most of them will ask for URL and what info you already have on your website. So how can you become affiliate if your site is not running on internet yet .

I hope I didn't confuse anyone ( i am confused myself about this )

Thanks, Eva

Hi Eva,

Most networks request you have a website up, but if you don't have one yet, then you can just leave the URL field blank and let the affiliate manager/network know that you are still in the process of building your site. You can sign up with Amazon as an affiliate and then add in your website information at a later time. The same goes with Clickbank.

I hope that helps. Have a good day!

We are still working on the course. I do not have information on when the new course would be released. Rest assured we will let you know once it is out.

Please let me know if you have further inquiries. All the best!

Hi Dario3025,

Yes, a blog is a website. Some affiliate marketing sites started as personal blogs. The blog owners started recommending products to their readers and was paid a commission for each sale. Some blog sites earn their owners an income througb AdSense.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

You can do affiliate marketing without a website. Affiliate networks (like Clickbank) don't require a website.

After creating an account with affiliate networks, go to forums and find blogs that are related to your niche. Help other members/visitors by posting relevant comments with your affiliate link. You could also write a viral ebook or a "special report" and insert links to affiliate products into it.

Affilorama has a free lesson on how to do affiliate marketing without a website: https://www.affilorama.com/introduction/ ... -a-website

However, building a website is building an asset. If you want to create a long-term business you'll inevitably need to put together a website and I recommend that you start now. Aim to build authority websites because these perform better in the long run. These sites will give you long term income.

Hope that helps. All the best! :)
