Welcome aboard, Fabio. Greetings from New Zealand.
It's good to see another sailor interested in the new currents of AI and Automation. You've tapped into the most powerful force to hit our industry in a decade... and also the most dangerous.
I've been in these waters since 2008. I survived the Google Panda storm that sank thousands of affiliate sites because I learned a hard lesson: shortcuts lead to the bottom of the ocean.
You asked what's working right now. For me, AI isn't a shortcut. It's an engine upgrade.
Here's what AI does for me, from one marketer to another:
1. AI is the Engine, Not the Captain.
My job is to be the Captain. I chart the course. I decide the destination (the user's problem). I watch for storms (Google updates). The AI's job is to provide the horsepower to get there faster. I never let the engine decide where we're going.
2. I Use AI as an Engineer, Not a Poet.
Before I even open an AI tool, I have a blueprint. I do deep keyword analysis to find what people are really asking. I structure a detailed content brief that outlines every section, every point, every internal link.
Only then do I hand the blueprint to my "engine" (the AI) and say, "Build this."
The AI does the heavy lifting—the drafting, the structuring, the tedious parts. My job is the final inspection. I add my "scars"—the personal stories, the unique insights, the voice that a machine can't fake.
I run a fleet of 5 sites this way. It's about 90% automated, but 100% my voice.
You're in the right niche, mate. The key is to be the Captain, not just a passenger.
Looking forward to swapping charts with you on here.
Cheers,
Rob
