Request for Help: Conversion Tracking

Hey Everyone,

I need some help with conversion tracking as I have absolutely no idea what to use. I first tried using Click Banks PPC Conversion Tracking and it was absolutely terrible; giving me mixed and completely wrong conversion data.

Then I opted for Tracking 202 and I find that it's just much to complicated and their support is absolutely horrid. I.E. Request for help and you never hear from anyone.

So the only thing that I can think of is using Googles PPC conversion code but I have a concern since I don't believe that it tracks data at the keyword level? By not having that option is that much of an impediment to running a successful and profitable adwords campaign?

If all else fails this will probably be what I have to resort to since I have no idea what else I can do to track my data.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Conversion tracking is a code that is put on the merchants thank you page if your a ppc Google or Yahoo or MSN they will provide you with the tracking code and then you will have to email the merchant and ask them if they are able to put the code on their thank you page when you make a sale that should tell you which keyword they bought the product. when you email the code be sure to save it and send it word pad to avoid corrupting the file

I have heard some bad things with regard click banks tracking system its very difficult to set up and frankly not very good I hope this helps

Hey Alan thx for your help. I have one other question. When setting up the Conversion tracking, do you need to create a code for each individual product you are promoting?

thx
