Can I succeed with PPC if the vendor is also advertising?

Hi,

I have noticed that whilst doing PPC, not only are there are few other marketers for the niche I have chosen, but also the vendor himself is also advertising via PPC.

How much success can I have bearing this in mind?

Also, all I am doing is linking the customer to the sales page directly..is this a good strategy?

Thanks for any help guys,

Duraid

Hi duraid,

It is daunting to think that as far as PPC goes, you are competing with the merchant as well, but remember that you are trying to get traffic to your webpage for that product and in that webpage are links to other articles on your site which promote other products from other vendors. It's not so much as promoting that one product but promoting your site and the products you recommend there.

I suggest you refer the customer to a page on your site promoting that product instead of referring them directly to the merchant/vendor sales page. I know Google doesn't like this strategy. You might want to go over Google Adwords landing page guidelines.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Yes you can make it but be sure you are allowed to do so! Most programs forbid ppc

That is always the case I am surprised that they allow you to use PPC usually they say you cant when the vendor is also using it..

Yes you can kick their butt ! But you have to get creative with your angel.
You have to get the most out of your advertising dollar and buy doing so you will be able to dominate and pay more for traffic and win..
You have to send your traffic to a squeeze page to build your list and this way you get as many chances as you want to close them all well building a valuable asset for yourself..

Just like the other critics or observers, I too have viewed and known the benefits from having PPC. It would be best if customers are referred on a site to promote your product or service.

As long as you make it perfectly and you consistently do backlinks for it, you can still be successful even if the vendor is also advertising.
