How to handle PPC leads in Telegram and measure qualified en

If your paid ads send people to a landing page with a Telegram contact option, the click is only the start of the enquiry. The visitor still needs to open the conversation, explain what they need and receive a useful answer. A campaign can generate clicks while that process fails to produce qualified leads.

This guide explains how to check that journey, organise replies across Telegram accounts and compare campaigns by qualified enquiries. We are the team behind Telegram Expert. The screenshots show our software where it supports the workflow; campaign attribution and sales tracking require your existing analytics or a separate working sheet.

1 Check what happens after the click

Follow the journey yourself on a phone and a desktop: open the landing page, find the Telegram contact option, open the destination and send a test enquiry. Ask a colleague to receive and answer it. Check the complete exchange before increasing the budget.

The ad, landing page and Telegram profile should describe the same offer. If an ad promises help choosing a subscription, the first reply should help with that choice. An unrelated introduction or a generic sales pitch forces the visitor to start again.

For each destination, record the account, the offer it handles and the person responsible for replies. Check the profile name and bio so the visitor can recognise the business they clicked on.

2 Preserve the campaign source before the chat starts

A Telegram conversation does not automatically provide a complete record of the ad click that preceded it. Decide how you will connect enquiries to campaigns before launch. Use your landing-page analytics to record campaign source and the click on the Telegram contact button. Treat that button click as a step toward an enquiry, not as proof that a message was sent.

For a simple manual test, show a short campaign reference beside the contact button and ask the visitor to include it in their first message. Use a different reference for each campaign you want to compare. This adds friction and some people will omit it, so keep an Unknown source category. Never assign an uncertain enquiry to whichever campaign needs better results.

A reference such as DEMO-A is a manual label, not a Telegram Expert tracking feature. If your existing bot or CRM captures the source reliably, keep that process.

Use one row per enquiry and update it as the conversation progresses:

  • Campaign or source — Known reference or Unknown
  • First message — Date and time
  • Responsible person — Who will reply and follow up
  • Qualification — Does the enquiry fit the offer
  • Next action — Answer a question, arrange a demo or close
  • Outcome — Qualified, unqualified, sale or unresolved

Define a qualified enquiry in advance. For a software offer, that might mean a person has described a relevant use case and wants to discuss the appropriate plan. Apply the same definition to every campaign in the comparison.

3 Make the first useful reply easy to deliver

Before launch, decide who covers each account and when. Record both the first incoming message and the first useful human reply. A short automatic acknowledgement can confirm receipt, but it should not count as a completed response in your service measurements.

Prepare answers to the questions the offer is likely to generate: suitability, requirements, price explanation and the next step. Use them as starting points. Read the actual question before replying so the person does not receive information they already supplied.

An acknowledgement could say: “Thanks for your message. Which task do you need help with? If you came from our demo offer, please include the reference shown on the page.” Only promise a response time your team can meet.

Telegram Expert includes auto-replies. Where several accounts receive enquiries, the separate Forwarder module brings incoming messages into a single chat. Test which account and conversation a response belongs to before relying on the setup during a live campaign.

Image

Forwarder

Run three practical checks: send enquiries to two different accounts, send a second message in one conversation and reply to both. Confirm that the operator can follow each conversation correctly. This is a workflow test, not a claim that the software replaces a CRM.

Watch capacity as well as cost per click

If enquiries are accumulating unanswered, more traffic adds to the queue. Clear the backlog, clarify responsibility or adjust staffed hours before increasing volume. Include unresolved conversations in the review instead of silently dropping them from the numbers.

4 Follow up on the request the person actually made

Separate people awaiting a demo, people who asked for setup information and customers needing support. A relevant follow-up continues the existing conversation. For example: “You asked whether this setup supports your workflow. Here are the requirements. Is there anything you need to clarify before the demo?”

Do not add everyone who clicked an ad to a messaging list. A click is not a Telegram conversation or a request for further messages. Keep follow-ups tied to the person’s enquiry and stop when they decline.

Telegram Expert supports messaging to open dialogs and other broadcast modes. For an agreed update to a defined group of enquirers, check the recipient list, preview the message and test with an account you control. Choose the mode that fits that specific task.

Image

Message Broadcasting

Keep one owner for each conversation and record the next action before sending. This helps prevent two people following up on the same enquiry or a prospect receiving an invitation after asking for technical help.

Check the working list before sending

The contact book tools can support contact management, but the contact list alone does not explain a person’s intent. Keep the request and status in your working sheet or CRM. A phone registration check, a collected username or membership of a relevant group should not be counted as a paid lead.

Contact Book

5 Compare campaigns by qualified enquiries

Review task execution and commercial outcomes separately. Telegram Expert reports can show successful and failed messaging or invitation actions. They do not, by themselves, establish the advertising source, whether an enquiry is qualified or whether a sale occurred.

Image

Reporting and Analytics

Use ad-platform spend, your source records and conversation outcomes for the campaign comparison. The example below is illustrative, not a case study or performance benchmark.

  • Spend — Campaign A: $300; Campaign B: $300
  • Ad clicks — Campaign A: 600; Campaign B: 300
  • Cost per click — Campaign A: $0.50; Campaign B: $1.00
  • New enquiries — Campaign A: 30; Campaign B: 24
  • Qualified enquiries — Campaign A: 6; Campaign B: 12
  • Cost per qualified enquiry — Campaign A: $50; Campaign B: $25

Calculate cost per qualified enquiry as campaign spend divided by qualified enquiries attributed to that campaign. Campaign B has the higher cost per click but the lower cost per qualified enquiry in this example. That is a reason to investigate lead quality and later sales, not proof that the result will hold at a larger budget.

Use the same dates and qualification criteria. Deduplicate repeat messages from the same enquiry. Keep unknown sources visible. Allow comparable time for follow-up, and do not call a campaign profitable until revenue and relevant costs support that conclusion.

6 Diagnose the weak step before increasing spend

  • Ad clicks but few contact-button clicks — Offer consistency and whether the contact option is clear
  • Contact-button clicks but few conversations — The destination, device experience and effort needed to start
  • Conversations but few useful replies — Account coverage, routing and the unanswered queue
  • Replies but few qualified enquiries — Search intent, audience fit and the promise in the ad
  • Qualified enquiries but few sales — Offer fit, unanswered objections and the next sales step
  • Many enquiries with unknown sources — The source-capture method before making campaign comparisons

These are checks to investigate, not automatic explanations. Review a sample of the actual conversations before changing the ad. If people repeatedly ask about a feature the offer does not include, inspect the ad and landing-page wording. If suitable prospects are waiting for answers, fix the response process.

A checklist for the next launch

  • The ad, landing page and Telegram destination describe the same offer.
  • A test enquiry has been received and answered on the intended account.
  • Campaign source is recorded where known, with an Unknown category.
  • Every account has a reply owner and a realistic coverage schedule.
  • Follow-ups match the person’s request and have a recorded next action.
  • The review includes qualified enquiries and unresolved conversations, not only clicks or completed sends.

For this workflow, Telegram Expert provides tools for account operations, messaging and operational reporting; Forwarder is a separately purchased module. Start with the parts needed to receive and handle enquiries. Registration, audience collection and engagement tools are not substitutes for a working path from paid click to useful conversation.

When you send paid traffic to a Telegram contact point, where do you lose the most people: before they message, while waiting for a reply or during follow-up?

Additional Telegram Expert interfaces

These additional interfaces show the wider software covered in the product overview. They are not required stages in the PPC enquiry workflow above. Choose specialist modules only when the task calls for them; additional PRO modules are licensed separately.

**From GPT to Passkey: What's New in Telegram Expert Over the Past Few Months**

Telegram Expert is a global leader in software for working with Telegram. We continuously develop the product by adding support for new Telegram versions, improving existing modules, enhancing Windows compatibility, and introducing new tools for managing accounts.

Over the past few months, we've updated the GPT module and the web login mechanism, added Passkey support, and introduced STOP SCAM! We've also added new Android and Desktop versions, improved registration, and fixed issues across several modules.

We've compiled all the major changes from June through October 2026. Below, you can see which features have been added to the program and which Telegram versions are now supported.

**20.06.2026**

**Added Telegram Android versions:**

• 12.8.2 (69202)
• 12.8.2 (69209)

Due to significant changes in Telegram, we temporarily removed older versions from the “Version Control” section. However, users could still register accounts and work with older versions.

Account registration on older versions still works. Some features that rely on interface buttons may produce errors. These include creating posts, creating bots, and checking accounts for restrictions.

To use older versions, you need to disable version control in the general settings. We do not recommend disabling this option.

**To switch to the latest versions, we recommend the following steps:**

1. Open “Control Panel” → “Version Control” and select the latest available versions.
2. Go to “Control Panel” and run a ban check.
3. After that, continue working with your accounts as usual.

When checking an account for restrictions immediately after changing its version, you may encounter a connection error. This is due to how Telegram operates. The error should disappear when you run the check again.

**28.08.2026**

• Restored full support for older Telegram versions.
• Fixed the issue with checking accounts for restrictions.
• Fixed a multithreading issue.

**12.09.2026**

In this update, we improved several key tools at once. We updated the GPT module, changed the web login mechanism, and reworked the auto-reply module and messaging to open conversations.

**Updated GPT Module**

GPT settings have been moved to a separate section: “Menu” → “Settings” → “GPT Settings”.

You can now connect different API providers and use any AI models available through an API. The module supports an unlimited number of API keys and works with API aggregators.

To connect a provider, enter your API key and API endpoint URL. You can test the settings by clicking the chat icon.

For free use, local solutions such as Ollama are suitable, as well as gpt4free. Paid options include OpenAI, Claude, Grok, and other services.

**New Web Login Mechanism**

We've changed how users log in to the web version of Telegram. The new mechanism supports Telegram Desktop (2040), Telegram Android, and other clients.

Opening an account for the first time may take longer. Subsequent logins are almost instantaneous.

Connections are made through proxies. Each browser window uses a proxy according to the program's settings.

**Reworked Auto-Reply and Messaging to Open Conversations**

We've reworked the auto-reply module and the module for sending messages to open conversations. They now run in cycles and continue executing tasks.

We've added settings to stop automatically in the event of a ban, spam restriction, or flood limit. A “Sequential Statuses” option is also now available.

Combined with the GPT module, these tools can generate messages and use them to attract new customers.

In addition, the Telegram Android and Telegram Desktop versions available at the time of release, up to Desktop version 7.2.8 x64, were added and tested.

**13.09.2026**

Fixed an issue that could cause Telegram Expert to stop working or execute tasks slowly on certain operating systems.

To apply the fix, restart the program. If the problem persists, contact the general chat or support team and provide your operating system version.

**13.09.2026**

**Fixed Slow Performance on Certain Windows Versions**

We've fixed an issue that caused the program to run slowly on certain older versions of Windows.

**At the time of testing, the program worked on the following systems:**

• Windows 11: versions 21H2, 22H2, 23H2, 24H2, and 25H2, newer than 19045.
• Windows 10 22H2 (19045).
• Windows 10 21H2 (19044), 21H1 (19043), 20H2 (19042), and 2004 (19041).
• Windows Server 2022, builds newer than 20348.
• Windows Server 2025, builds newer than 26100.

**Temporarily unsupported:**

• Windows Server 2019 (17763).
• Windows Server 2016 (14393).

We planned to add support for Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2016, as well as older builds of Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2025. Specifically, this included Windows Server 2022 builds 20348 and earlier, and Windows Server 2025 builds 26100 and earlier.

If problems persist, contact support. Attach a screenshot showing your Windows version and the program log, if available.

To check your system version, press Win + R, type winver, and press Enter.

**15.09.2026**

**Telegram Expert, build 105**

**The program has been checked and tested on the following systems:**

• Windows 10.
• Windows 11.
• Windows Server 2025.
• Windows Server 2022.
• Windows Server 2019.
• Windows Server 2016.

After updating, we recommend opening the general settings, performing a reset, and checking that the program works with the default settings.

We also shared recommendations for improving performance.

1. Check CPU usage. Telegram uses encryption, and processing connections requires computing resources. CPU performance affects how quickly operations are completed.
2. Check your proxies. A fast, stable connection helps the program run faster.
3. Configure your operating system. For fine-tuning the Windows connection pool, you can adjust TcpTimedWaitDelay and TcpFinWait2Delay and expand the TCP port range.

**18.09.2026**

**Added Telegram Android versions:**

• 12.10.3 (70892)
• 12.10.3 (70899)
• 12.10.2 (70862)
• 12.10.2 (70869)

**Added Telegram Desktop version:**

• 7.2.9 x64

**21.09.2026**

**Support for worldcode.win**

After the firefox.fun service shut down, users started looking for alternative registration options through worldcode.win.

We confirmed that worldcode.win has long been supported in Telegram Expert and works correctly.

The main difference when configuring registration is the service ID. The rest of the API format is the same.

• firefox.fun: ID 1000.
• worldcode.win: ID 1001.

**24.09.2026**

**Passkey Support and the New STOP SCAM! Feature**

**Added Telegram Android versions:**

• 12.10.4 (70992)
• 12.10.4 (70999)

**Passkey Support Added**

**The following actions are now available:**

• check Passkey status;
• add a Passkey;
• remove a Passkey;
• sign in with a Passkey.

**STOP SCAM! to Protect Accounts After Purchase**

We've added STOP SCAM! to protect accounts after purchase. The feature performs several operations designed to prevent continued access through old sessions retained by a dishonest seller.

**The procedure includes:**

• terminating other sessions;
• changing the cloud password (2FA);
• setting up a Passkey;
• refreshing the authorization key.

During the process, a new authorization key for Telegram's servers and a new session file are created. The account's settings remain unchanged.

The feature works correctly with accounts registered through Telegram Expert. Issues may occur with accounts obtained from other sources, so we recommend testing it on one or two accounts before using it at scale.

After running STOP SCAM!, we recommend waiting 72 hours before using those accounts again. An alternative tool for this task is the “Duplicator” module.

We developed STOP SCAM! in response to the problem of old session keys being reused when accounts are resold. Some sellers retain access to previous sessions and use them after handing the account over to the buyer.

Another issue involves phone number providers that supply a Telegram code for an already registered account instead of a new registration code. After receiving payment, they may regain access to the account by terminating the buyer's new session.

We've provided the community with a free tool that refreshes the authorization key in a single action. This helps buyers secure access to their accounts and prevents the previous session key from being used.

**26.09.2026**

**Added Telegram Android versions:**

• 12.10.5 (71052)
• 12.10.5 (71059)

**30.09.2026**

**Added Telegram Android versions:**

• 12.10.6 (71122)
• 12.10.6 (71129)

**09.10.2026**

**Fixed issues in the following modules:**

• “Create Posts” (@PostBot).
• Checking links without accounts.

**10.10.2026**

**Added Telegram Android versions:**

• 13.0.1 (71672)
• 13.0.1 (71679)
• 13.0.0 (71582)
• 13.0.0 (71589)

**Added Telegram Desktop version:**

• 7.3.0

**12.10.2026**

• Fixed the “Remove Restrictions” module.
• Added Telegram Desktop version 7.3.1 x64.

**12.10.2026**

**Added Telegram Android versions:**

• 13.0.2 (71752)
• 13.0.2 (71759)
