Diet and Fitness Products - Good topic to start with?

Just wanted to take time out of trying to find a topic and say hi to everyone. I am really new to this and only found out what affiliate marketing was a week ago so I am just getting my head around a few things. I think I have come up with an idea after reading through some other posts about starting off with review sites. I am looking at diet and fitness products and having a reveiw site about these. What do you think? it looks like there is quite a bit of competition here though.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers

G'day Wes, welcome. There is a fair bit to get your head around, so just give it some time.

As for the diet and fitness site, it could definitely work, it all depends on how you go about it.

Wes,

Welcome my friend and Affilo-Bud!!! I have tried a ton of Internet Marketing stuff and this is the most fantastic place on the Planet!!!

A few things you should know...

1. Watch all of the videos that you can

2. Ask people on this forum what to do before you try it.

3.Constantly learn as much as you can about the method or technique you are going to use to market your site.

4. TAKE MASSIVE ACTION!!!

The people here are incredible and some have great experience in IM. If you need any help don't be afraid to ask.

God Bless, to my new Affilo-Bud!!!

Flame-On!!

Review sites are a good place to start. I say this all the time, but competition is a really good thing because it means other people are making money off it. If there wasn't any competition you should be more worried. Watch the videos, follow the advice (and listen to people on the forum) and you'll probably be doing a lot better than most of the competition out there.

And hi! Welcome! Glad to have you here!

All the best,
Mark

This is one of the easiest things to do. Simply find a blog, any blog, and post a comment on it with your url etc.. Post an article on ezinearticles or any article directory and your all set. If you have set up a sitemap have it link to your sitemap.

Ummm you can use traffic travis to check that or a bunch of other programs. Search for any "back link checker" on google.

MacDee1823,

Here's how you can get page ranked pretty fast. Go to: http://www.directoryvault.com/service.php

You can get these deals: For $23.00 you can get linked to 100 Page Rank 5 sites. I got this from Brad Fallon's Blog he's the guy that wrote Stomping the Search Engines. (I am not affiliated with that site at all but I used it)

There are all kinds of other deals out there like this. I know that Affilorama advocates one but I can't remember its name.

Also, you can go to Dave Barry's blog and leave a comment with your link on it. That page had a PR7 I think.

Anyway, that will help your PR a bit.

God Bless my fellow Affilo-Bud!

Flame On!!!

Elmo - You don't get 100 PR5 links.... they submit your link to a PR5 directory. Big difference
