Record Audio, Save as MP3, Turn into Podcast - How?

Hi everyone!

I really want to start a podcast for my site and know how to record my audio, save it as an MP3, stuff like that but really don't know how to turn that into a "Podcast".

Can anyone give me some pointers? Or maybe Mark, can you do a video on it :wink:

Once I get the audio portion of it down I'd like to turn it into a video podcast as well.

 For the sake of everyone, I also ask that a video or just a quick note on how to create a podcast be placed perhaps? I will search Google though...
