Have you tried running a simple PHP script in the document root of your website (to make sure PHP is working)? Ex:

Code: Select all
<?php
phpinfo();
?>

Hi Nate,

This is one of those things that could take dozens of back and forth messages to fix without your having a fundamental knowledge of how it works. I would recommend spending the time to learn about it, especially if you're going to be in the business of operating multiple websites.

Just some starters:
* I noticed PHPBB has extensive online documentation:
http://www.phpbb.com/support/documentation/3.0/
* Here is just one of thousands of pages out there describing how to test your PHP installation:
http://www.kirupa.com/web/testphp.htm
* Take a look through Wikibooks. There are lots of tutorials on website building, etc. Ex:
"http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Starting_A_Website"

Sorry that it seems I'm dismissing your ques, but I feel like I'd be do you a disservice by giving you a recipe. It would probably take longer using the forums than it would be for you to learn about it.
